bastisRIKE's kitchen towels were sewn from leftovers from my fabric collection. From the fabric and yarn to the label and hangers, the cloths are made from 100% organic cotton.
The pleasant, non-slip woven quality ensures that dishes are dried effortlessly. However, they also work just as well as a cover, coaster or guest towel. Thanks to two sewn-in hangers, the towels can be easily hung up to dry when the work is done.
Design: A water lily landscape translated into jacquard fabric. The pattern is based on paper cuttings that I like to make from black cardboard using large scissors. The motif is from 2017, and as the cloths are cut from the pattern repeat at different positions, they vary.
In order to carry on the LessWaste, or ZeroWaste idea, the cloths come without sales packaging. They only come with a small information card (recycled paper, printed by hand) with care instructions.
