Tea towel: BIRDS, sand
SOLD OUT
bastisRIKE's kitchen towels were sewn from leftovers from my fabric collection. From the fabric and yarn to the label and hangers, the cloths are made from 100% organic cotton.
The pleasant, non-slip woven quality ensures that dishes are dried effortlessly. However, they also work just as well as a cover, coaster or guest towel. Thanks to two sewn-in hangers, the towels can be easily hung up to dry when the work is done.
Design: As long as I can think back I was fascinated by formations and murmurations of birds. Are those migratory birds, perhaps geese? Or rather swans? All cutted by hand and transfered into a jacquard woven cloth in pure certified organically grown cotton. Wonderfully soft. The pattern is based on paper cuts I like to make using a large pair of scissors and black cardboard. I made it in 2017. As the cloths are cut from different positions in the pattern report, they slightly in look.
In order to carry on the LessWaste, or ZeroWaste idea, the cloths come without sales packaging. They only come with a small information card (recycled paper, printed by hand) with care instructions.
Note: Due to the lighting conditions during product photography and different screen settings, the color of the product may not be reproduced authentically.
