Handkerchief: BIRDS, natural white

As long as I can think back I was fascinated by formations and murmurations of birds. Are those migratory birds, perhaps geese? Or rather swans? All cutted by hand and transfered into a jacquard woven handkerchief in pure certified organically grown cotton. Wonderfully soft and therefore gentle on your nose.

With only 25 by 25 centimetres it requieres little space and fits into your trouser pocket. You can use it as a napkin, too.

The pattern is based on paper cuts I like to make using a large pair of scissors and black cardboard. I made it in 2017.
As the hankies are cut from different positions in the pattern report, they vary slightly in look.

My handkerchiefs are a stylish alternative to paper tissues. To follow the idea of LessWaste, or ZeroWaste they come package free. Only a small card (recycled paper, climate-neutrally printed with plant-based ink) with care instructions is included.
