This seed mixture is made up from high-quality seeds collected from wild and cultivated plants. Ecologically valuable seeds which embellish the city and natural gardens in a meaningful way by adding a lot variety.
The mixture contains about 40 different flowering wild perennial and old cultivars, which bring new blooming surprises from spring to fall. Among them rarities such as Campanula rapunculus, Forking Larkspur and golden poppy. Another special feature are the ingredients of the famous dish "Leipziger Allerlei": wild carrot, green asparagus, veal peas and spice plants.
Part of the mixture are also: Meadow sage, blue chicory, Sweet William catchfly, cornflower, brownray knapweed, poppy, cosmea, Thuringian mallow, Love-in-a-Mist.
The mixture of Leipzig offers colorful flowers all year around, but is also a valuable source of food for insects, bumblebees, bees and butterflies.
Part of the purchase price will be donated to the Bürger für Leipzig foundatition for their project A garden for Leipzig.

The artist Reinhard Krehl (* 1965) studied landscape planning and walk science with Prof. Lucius Burckhardt. In his artistic work, he repeatedly works with nature and plants. Since 2001 Reinhard Krehl lives in Leipzig. His first wildflower mix is the "Leipzig Mix" and there are more to come.
